Edible Net B2B Software Option

A B2B software option for online ordering adds even more meat to Edible Software’s overall features.

EDIBLE NET is an optional business-to-business (B2B) add-on module that enables your customers to place orders over the Internet, 24 hours a day.  After accessing your web site, only your approved customers will be able to access EDIBLE NET in order to place their secure orders.  After accessing EDIBLE NET, users will be able to view the status and details of any of previous order, after which a new order can be entered.  When entering a new order, customers have the option of viewing all of the standard inventory items that they usually purchase, optionally with their own custom description and price per selected unit-of-measure (UOM).

After an order is entered into EDIBLE NET, a printable confirmation is generated for the customer and the order is then immediately and automatically transferred into Edible Software, where it can be viewed, modified if needed and then approved and processed together with all of the other Edible software sales orders.

EDIBLE NET’s interactive Internet communication package works as follows:

1. Each customer needing access to EDIBLE NET is assigned a secure ID and password.

2. When placing an order, the customer accesses your Web Site and selects the 'Place Order' page.

3. Within that page, the customer enters his/her customer ID and password.

4. The customer’s complete order history and status is then immediately available for viewing.

5. In order to then place a new order, the customer is prompted to enter a requested pickup or delivery date and time.

6. The customer can elect to view all of the specific inventory items that he/she usually purchases, or all inventory items sold by the distributor, sorted and viewable by Item Category and Item Type.

7. Selected items are displayed with that customer’s own description and selling price per item per required unit-of-measure.

8. As the quantity of each item selected is entered, the system immediately displays the extended line-item price and cumulative order cost.

9. Customers can add a note to the order and when completed, receive a printable order confirmation.

10. The order is automatically transferred to Edible Software, where it can be reviewed, modified if needed, and then processed as usual.  No data re-entry is needed.
    

Distributors have the option of having EDIBLE NET notify authorized personnel as soon as a new Internet order arrives, or else they can be manually reviewed in the On-Line Order file.
